Terms and Conditions

  1. Respect and Inclusivity:

1.1 Treat all participants with respect, regardless of their background, experience, or role within the company.

1.2 Foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to participate and contribute their ideas.

  1. Collaboration & Participation:

2.1 Encourage collaboration and teamwork among participants.

2.2 Respect intellectual property rights and give credit where it is due.

2.3 All applicants and participants agree to avail themselves for the full 3 months of the intensive program and to attend all sessions as per the agenda.

  1. Professionalism:

3.1 Maintain professionalism in all interactions and communications throughout the program.

 3.2 Avoid any behavior that may be considered offensive, discriminatory, or harassing.

  1. Compliance & Intellectual Property:

4.1 Ensure that all projects developed during the program comply with company policies and legal regulations.

4.2 Refrain from using unauthorized software, data, or resources.

4.3 Applicants and participants warrant that their entries are their own original work and are therefore the sole and exclusive owner and holder of the submission rights. They confirm that they have the right to submit their entry to the program and to grant all required licenses. Each participant agrees not to submit any submission that (i) infringes any third-party proprietary rights, intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, personal or moral rights, or any other rights, including without limitation copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, or confidentiality obligations.

4.4 The organizing parties have the right to keep copies of the works submitted before, during, or after participating in the program. Additionally, the organizing party has the right to share them with any third party deemed appropriate. The organizing team does not bear any legal responsibility related to the intellectual property of the entries in the competition, which may constitute a violation of property rights. The organizing team also does not sign non-disclosure agreements with participants, teams, or startups. By participating in the program, you consent to openly share your project idea and relevant information with other participants, the organizing team, mentors, partners, and investors, and share your solution publicly. The organizing team holds no responsibility for idea theft. We encourage participants to share as much as possible, as we believe the idea is 1% while 99% of success lies in the team’s ability to execute the idea.

  1. Safety:

5.1 Prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants.

5.2 Report any safety concerns or incidents to the designated program organizers immediately.

  1. Fairness:

6.1 Follow the rules and guidelines outlined for the program.

6.2 Avoid any actions that may give unfair advantage to any individual or team.

  1. Feedback and Learning:

7.1 Provide constructive feedback to other participants to help them improve.

7.2 Embrace the opportunity to learn from others and expand your own skills and knowledge.

  1. Confidentiality:

8.1 Respect the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared during the program.

8.2 Do not disclose proprietary or confidential company information.

  1. Code of Conduct Violations:

9.1 Any violations of this code of conduct will be taken seriously and may result in consequences, including disqualification from the program or disciplinary action.

  1. Reporting:

10.1 Report any violations of this code of conduct to the program organizers representatives promptly.

  1. Photography and Videography:

11.1 TikTok and Blossom Accelerator have the right to record photos and videos of the program.

11.2 These images and videos may be used for marketing purposes.

  1. Competition Outcome

12.1 A panel of judges, as selected by TikTok and Blossom Accelerator, will select the winning teams based on the criteria provided.

12.2 The judges’ decision will be final.

  1. Eligibility criteria

13.1 Eligible candidates are adults above the age of 18 and are able to attend the entire program (in person in Riyadh and virtually) as scheduled.

13.2 Each team can only participate with one project.

  1. Privacy Policy

14.1 The applicant and participant acknowledge and agree that TikTok and Blossom Accelerator may collect, store, share, and use personally identifiable information submitted during the registration and program process, including but not limited to name, email address, and telephone number.

14.2 The program organizers will use this information, including to administer and verify the applicant’s identity, email address, and phone number in the program an applicant qualifies for a prize. Your data can also be used in the future to market and advertise to you for various different programs.

14.3 The participant acknowledges and consents for TikTok and Blossom Accelerator to take, use, and publish photos, videos, and audio clips of the participant during and after the program for advertising and marketing purposes. The participant consents that the organizing parties will own all photos and videos taken during the program.
