Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Blossom Saudi Soft Landing Program?
The Blossom Saudi Soft Landing Program is designed to attract and support international tech companies entering the Saudi market. It offers a comprehensive suite of services, from regulatory support and funding access to infrastructure setup and mentorship.
How is the Blossom Soft Landing program different than others in the market?
We are uniquely positioned in several key aspects. First and foremost, our initial services are offered entirely free of charge to startups that successfully pass our due diligence, thanks to our partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment. Additionally, any fee-based services we provide, such as office space, are entirely optional and are designed to be the most cost-effective and founder-friendly options available in the market.

We take great pride in having catalyzed the growth of over 3,000 companies across nine countries, fostering local expertise while making a significant global impact. Furthermore, our turnaround times are exceptionally swift, enabling us to facilitate incorporation within 60 days or less.

How can my company apply to the program?
Companies interested in our program are invited to submit their applications directly through the Blossom Accelerator website. Following an initial review by our due diligence committee, we will inform you of your eligibility for our complimentary Softlanding support. If you are selected to advance to the next phase, we will provide further inquiries regarding your company’s business model, technology, team, and growth potential. An esteemed panel of experts will evaluate all applications, focusing on identifying startups with significant promise for success in the Saudi market.
Is there a deadline for applications?
Applications are assessed on a rolling basis, and we welcome submissions throughout the year, with no specific deadline for entry.
Are there any costs associated with the incorporation process?
The initial phase of the incorporation process, which includes securing the MISA entrepreneurship license, is offered as a complimentary service for companies that successfully navigate our due diligence assessment. While optional services such as document preparation and office space sourcing are available for a fee, these are entirely at the discretion of the startups. Our core Softlanding service remains completely free of charge.
Is the cost of office space included in the program?
Please note that while the program does not cover the cost of office or coworking space, we do offer assistance in locating suitable options for a fee, should the startup require such support.
What criteria do you use to select startups for the program?
Startups are evaluated based on their innovative technology, scalable and sustainable business model, market differentiation, dedicated founding team, initial traction, and alignment with Saudi Soft Landing Program’s objectives.
Can companies that do not meet all the criteria still apply?
Yes, the program welcomes applications from companies with compelling value propositions even if they do not meet all the listed criteria.
How is the performance of participating startups monitored?
Performance is meticulously monitored through a set of key performance indicators (KPIs), which include revenue growth, market penetration, funding secured, product development progress, and local engagement—such as the hiring of Saudi nationals and the establishment of local partnerships.

As part of our program, all startups are mandated to provide quarterly reports on these KPIs. This regular reporting cycle ensures that we can effectively assess each startup’s progress and scalability within the Saudi market. By maintaining open lines of communication, we not only hold startups accountable but also provide tailored support and guidance to foster their sustained growth and success.

Is the participation in the program subject to annual renewal?
Yes, the program assesses each startup’s performance annually to determine eligibility for renewal based on their progress and contributions to the local ecosystem.
What is the Premium Residency?
