1. Program Overview

The TikTok x Blossom SME Empowerment Program – Cohort 2, which includes a Hackathon and an Accelerator (referred to as the “Program”) is an entrepreneurship enablement and acceleration initiative designed to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in adopting digital tools and AI-driven solutions to grow and scale their businesses.

The Program is organized and operated by TikTok in collaboration with Blossom Accelerator (collectively referred to as the “Organizers”).

 

2. Binding Agreement

By submitting an application or participating in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Acceptance into the Program constitutes an agreement between the participant and the Organizers.

 

3. Eligibility

To participate in the Program, applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
• Commit to active participation in all required Program activities.
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.

The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify applications containing incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information.

 

4. Participation Requirements

Participants agree to:

• Form a team during the Hackathon.
• Pitch in the Hackathon to the judging committee.
• Attend scheduled workshops, mentorship sessions, and Program activities (virtual or in-person).
• Attend program demo day and pitch in person.
• Respect Program timelines, deliverables, and participation expectations.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the Program.

 

5. Application & Selection Process

Participation in the Program is free of charge unless otherwise stated.

Applications must be submitted through the official Program channels during the announced application period.

All applications will be reviewed and evaluated by the Organizers based on internal assessment standards and Program objectives. Selection decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Organizers.

The Organizers reserve the right to accept or reject any application without providing justification and to determine final participant selection.

 

6. Program Timeline

The Program will run according to dates announced on official Program channels. Yet, the Organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any aspect of the Program, including schedules, formats, or activities, when necessary.

 

7. No Guarantee of Outcomes

The Program includes educational, mentorship, and business enablement components, and may provide participants with opportunities for exposure to investors, funding networks, or potential partners.

However, participation in the Program does not guarantee:

• Investment, funding, or financial support of any kind
• Selection for investor introductions or pitching opportunities
• Commercial partnerships or business agreements
• Business success, revenue growth, or market outcomes
• Acceptance into future programs or initiatives

Any fundraising opportunities, investor introductions, or promotional exposure provided through the Program are offered solely as enablement opportunities.

 

8. Privacy & Data Usage

Participants acknowledge and agree that the Organizers may collect, process, store, use, and share personal and business information submitted during registration or participation in the Program for purposes related to the operation, administration, improvement, promotion, and continuation of the Program and other initiatives operated by the Organizers.

Such use may include communications, program management, reporting, research, marketing, promotional activities, ecosystem engagement, and other lawful business purposes determined by the Organizers.

By participating in the Program, participants consent to receiving communications related to the Program and other Organizer initiatives. 

The Organizers will implement reasonable measures to protect participant data but shall not be responsible for unauthorized access by third parties beyond their reasonable control.

 

9. Media Consent

By participating in the Program, participants grant the Organizers permission to capture and use photographs, videos, audio recordings, and participant names or company names for promotional, marketing, and communication purposes across digital and media channels.

 

10. Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of their business ideas and intellectual property.

However, participants acknowledge that:

• The Organizers are not responsible for protecting confidential information shared during Program activities.
• No non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) will be signed unless explicitly stated.
• Participants may present their ideas publicly during Program activities.

Participants are encouraged to avoid sharing confidential information they wish to keep private.

 

11. Code of Conduct

The Program is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment.

Harassment or discrimination of any kind based on gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, ethnicity, or personal characteristics will not be tolerated.

Participants violating this policy may be removed from the Program at the Organizers’ discretion.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

Blossom Accelerator, TikTok, and affiliated partners, sponsors, mentors, investors and enablers, shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or consequences arising from participation in the Program or reliance on Program content or services.

By participating in the Program, you waive any claims against the Organizers and affiliated partners or enablers related to damages, losses, or consequences of your participation.

 

13. Third-Party Links and Services

Program materials or communications may include links to third-party platforms or services. The Organizers are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

 

14. Modifications

The Organizers reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
